This Past Weekend

Spring cleaning was in the air this weekend.  John continued the "battle of weeds" outside, I took a drive to clear my head and heart of the past week stresses.  The kitchen got a good scrubbing and loads of laundry were washed, hung and folded for this upcoming week. 

Sunday, Chewy (our Lhasa Apso) lost 2 lbs of hair.  For six hours I cut, shaped and groomed Chewy.  Poor little guy, he was falling asleep standing up.  Not being a professional dog groomer does make the job a bit slow.  He was a champion through it all and now has his summer cut.  After his bath, cleanup and my bath to shed all his hair, we all rested with dinner and a movie, "Beverly Hills Chihuahua."  Amanda and I laughed a lot.  I fell in love with the small black and white Chihuahua in the movie.  I've posted a picture similar to the one in the movie. 

After the movie, I put in the last load of clothes in the dryer and prepared for bed.  I turned on the television and saw that American Soldiers stormed a Pakistan Compound and killed Osamba Bin Laden.  I pray that this will end the bitter war and fear that has permeated mankind and America. 

Well, time to get ready for work and look forward to a wonderful week of blessings.  A kiss and love to my family.  Patricia
